Colorado Brewer's Festival

Jer and I headed back to the Front Range for a few days to meet some friends and attend Brew Fest in Fort Collins. I was the designated driver (my choice), but I still had fun; and everyone else got to taste test several beers from around the area. Beautiful sunny day, live music, friends, and good food... a great way to spend the weekend!

Summer!

It's finally summer! The visit back to St. Louis was great, and my National Board Facilitator training was very interesting, but it's only been in the last few days that I've finally been able to enjoy sleeping in and relaxing in our new home. Earlier this week Aunt Barb and Uncle Don were here. We drove to Telluride and did the touristy type things, stopping along the way to take pictures of the scenery. We also took a one and half hour hike through the woods and up above Ouray, even though it was a bit drizzle-y. They did great!

I have had a great time while I've been back, but I'm ready to head back HOME (it's amazing how quickly I switched from calling St. Louis home to Ouray, once I had someone to love and a mortgage). As usual, the time with family and friends was too short, but I'll be back this summer to spoil my new niece, so I'll see you all again soon!

End of the School Year

The end of the school year has finally arrived! My last day with the kids was yesterday (Friday). We had a HUGE breakfast with parents, watched a movie I had made and gave out awards. It was a great success. Then the kids helped me clean and get the room ready for the end of the year. It's amazing how helpful they can be! I have a workday on Monday and then fly out to St. Louis on Wednesday to stay for a week. Hope to see you there!
