So this isn't the exact one (it's really a picture from the internet), but today Jeremy and I were on our way into Montrose and there was this bear just sitting in the ditch along the highway watching all the tourists drive by!

Was the bear you saw as big as the picture? I think any size bear would be dangerous. Hope you hike with a companion.
