Thanks to everyone who called to wish and/or sing me Happy Birthday today! It was great to talk to so many friends and family.
Jeremy and I spent the morning sleeping in and rearranging the furniture in my ofice before we talked for an hour and a half with a car salesman in Montrose. No, we're not really in need of a new car, but by next winter we want all wheel drive and will probably be buying a Subaru. Jeremy did a great job at talking them down on the price of new car, but unfortunately they wouldn't give us enough to trade in the G6. Therefore, we will be selling it on our own this suumer and then car shopping afterwards.
Once we made it home, we cleaned a bit and Jeremy did A LOT of cooking. Nine fabulous people showed for our dinner party in celebration of several things (my birthday, finishing the National Boards, and our new home). We had lasagne, salad, garlic bread, etc. And TONS of chips and salsa, which is apparently a vary popular item when asked to bring your own appetizer or side dish. There were two birthday cakes... one for me and one for Kirsten who is an April Fool's baby like my father. Both were deicious!
One more week until a much needed spring break. No big trips planned. Just finish settling in here at home and maybe a few days camping in Bryce or Zion. We'll just have to wait and see how we feel. Hope everyone has a great start to spring! Can't wait to see you all this summer!
